Hitting 200kg with the Global Shapers Victoria Hub

We nearly had to cancel this month's clean up but even the rain didn't stop an amazing group of 35 or so volunteers from turning up to do their bit for the oceans!

Our May clean up was a collaboration with the Global Shapers Victoria Hub and thanks to Miss Sue from the International School Seychelles, a bunch of the students at the school came down to clean up.

And can you believe it? In one hour we collected over 200kg of rubbish! We definitely needed extra hands to help with sorting, counting and weighing so we're really glad to have had the Shapers around to help

This month we also give a special shout to the people that help us behind the scenes, and without whom it would not be possible to do what we do. Our rubbish collection crew turned up just after the clean up ended, but unfortunately so did the rain, and our boys got completely drenched disposing of the rubbish we sadly can't recycle at the landfill.
